This page provides general
information on Instructions and Precautions, you should take for
you pet, when the pet has to undergo a surgery.

Regardless of the type of surgery, the incision area should
always be kept clean and dry.

Make sure that the pet is not bathed or immersed in water
during the 10-14 day closure time.

Since the surgery includes an anesthesia the pet may appear
sedated.

The pet should be kept in a safe and warm place in the house,
the day after the surgery.

Seepage from the incision is not uncommon but if there is any
heavy bleeding, please report it to our veterinarian right
away.

Discourage the pet to lick on the incision area.

Offer very small amount of food and water to the pet, even
after several hours of the surgery.
